We Bid Farewell to Our 2025 Graduates of the Elementary Mathematics Teaching Program!

On June 30, 2025, we proudly sent off the 2025 graduates of the Elementary Mathematics Teaching Program with a graduation ceremony held at Fırat University’s 50th Anniversary Park. The ceremony was attended by our faculty members, students, their families, and the university administration. It began with a moment of silence and the National Anthem, followed by a speech from Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Mahmut Doğru, who emphasized the vital importance of teaching for the future of our country, congratulated our graduates, and wished them success on their meaningful professional journey.

Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Nuri Gömleksiz, in his speech, highlighted the effort and dedication shown by our students over the past four years, and expressed gratitude to the academic staff who guided them and the families who supported them throughout this process.

This year, our program’s top graduate, Aygül Demir, also achieved the honor of being the second-best student of the entire faculty, making us all proud. Our program’s second-ranked student, Şeydanur Çiftçi, likewise placed third at the faculty level. Following the speeches, our graduates took their first steps into the teaching profession with the traditional cap-throwing ceremony.

We sincerely congratulate our students who succeeded in graduating after four years of hard work and perseverance, and we wish them bright futures and open paths ahead!
