Our March 14 World Mathematics and Pi Day Events Celebrated with Enthusiasm!

As part of the March 14 World Mathematics and Pi Day, various activities were organized by the Analytical Thinking Student Community and the Department of Mathematics Education.

The program began with a speech by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatma Erdoğan, Head of the Department of Mathematics Education, in honor of the meaning of Pi Day. It then continued with a seminar by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ebru Korkmaz titled “The Number Pi and the Historical Development of Mathematics.”

Finally, the program concluded with a quiz competition, a Pi digit memorization contest, and a story-based roleplay game titled “The Land of Pi.”
